“The Lord has truly Risen from the Dead, Alleluia. Alleluia”
HAPPY EASTER to all of you.
(My reflection of today is not based on the usual daily readings.)
Through the grace and power of God, we have finally reached Easter.
However, this Easter is so different from any Easter that many of us have ever experienced.
However, now our houses are the churches; our hearts the tabernacles, and our families the assembly of God’s people.
The Lord says: “Do not be afraid, little flock… (Cf. Lk. 12:32).
It is really all different and different from the Easters we used to celebrate.
Who knows what God wants of us in this time of crisis? Certainly, it is a golden opportunity to reflect on our relationship with our God, family, neighbor and our entire world.
Perhaps it is the time of God’s invitation to return to Him, the source of our being and identity. All people in our globe are at his knees.
In this time of pandemic, we all feel helpless and annoyed. We need to cry to God as Jesus did: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me”? God hears the cry of the poor. God’s presence has never changed. He is “Emmanuel”; he tells us, “be still, I am with you”. We have many questions. Nonetheless, the answers come only from God. Let us lift our hands in prayer and our hearts to listen.
May the greeting of Christ resurrected to his disciples, “Peace be with you”, descend upon each of you on this Easter day and throughout this season. Take courage, be well and safe.
Happy Easter
