This Sunday, the second Sunday of Lent, our Diocese observes a Holy Hour of prayer for victims of sexual abuse, particularly clerical sexual abuse. Since 2019, our Bishop has called all parishes to gather and pray as a community for healing in the lives of those who have suffered from the scourge of abuse. Here at St Anne our Holy Hour will begin at 3:30 pm with the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, followed by a time of prayer and adoration, and conclude just before 4:30 with Benediction.
May all those who have experienced sexual abuse also experience the healing balm of Christ’s love through our prayers and our actions.
